Kavita has been selected to join the "ITV Business Club". This comprises of pool of ten sparky, articulate business men and women from all corners of the country, from firms big and small. As a group, they will consider and represent the challenges and hopes that face businesses in the UK today.

The project was launched on ITN news on the 17th of January; introducing the characters from the panel and identifying the main issues on the Evening News and News at Ten.

Kavita joined Yo Sushi founder Simon Woodroffe, one of the original members of Dragon's Den, and founder of the Yo! Sushi restaurant chain, to discuss the proposed abolition of the 50% Tax Rate.

Kavita joined fellow panellists to meet the latest unlucky candidate to fall foul of Sir Alan, by selling themselves short in a task to select and sell new innovative products to retailers.

Fellow panelists included Ruby Wax and Mark Firth.

Kavita joined Evan Davis to discuss current affairs in the business world and the dreaded term 'compliance' when running a company with one foot in the public sector and the other in the private. Kavita also discussed the need for rules and regulations in the business world.

Kavita joined the presenters of Derby Radio to give a reading during the carol service, at Derby's historic cathedral; the smallest Anglican cathedral in England.

Kavita joined Declan and Naga as a special guest on their show; discussing her experience of starting up and successfully running a business in the current economic climate.

Kavita takes part in the programme, "Careers for Women", hosted by Gail Porter showcasing the diverse roles in which women are now employed, and their impact on the world of business.

As a result of so much interest in Kavita's appearance on the TV show "Secret Millionaire", Kavita was invited to appear on Channel 4's "The TV Show" hosted by Krishna Gurumurthy.

The show took the form of a Q & A session with the programme makers and millionaire Kavita, with an open discussion of the show's impact on the different people who participated.

Living undercover, Kavita moves into a neighbourhood where half the families survive on benefits and finds out how hard it is to get by on benefits, and how a "Secret Millionaire" benefactor can make a difference.
