Kavita Oberoi becomes latest patron of
the Derby Women's Centre

Kavita has accepted the role of Patron of Derby Women's Centre, joining the comedian Jo Brand in supporting the women in the Derby and Derbyshire areas to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, facilitate personal development and reduce poverty and economic inequalities.

Thanks to Kavita's patronage and her experiences on "The Secret Millionaire" (in which she made a generous donation to the "Sisters with Voices Project"), the Derby Women's Centre are currently developing a service in partnership with other agencies to meet the needs of young women in the Derby area who are aged 14 and over.
